Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship 2019

Zonta International Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organisation that helps women and girls overcome gender barriers to educational and professional advancement.

The Amelia Earhart Fellowships, sponsored by the Foundation, are awarded annually to 30 women pursuing PhD/doctoral degrees in aerospace-applied science or aerospace-applied engineering. It may be used at any university or college offering accredited postgraduate courses and degrees in these fields.

Women of any nationality pursuing a PhD/doctoral degree who demonstrate a superior academic record in the field of aerospace-applied sciences and aerospace-applied engineering are eligible to apply.

Applicants must be registered in a full-time PhD/doctoral programme and completed at least one year of that programme or have received a Master’s degree in an aerospace-related field at the time the application is submitted. Applicants must not graduate from their PhD or doctoral programme before April 2021.

Fellowships of US$10,000 are awarded.

Applications must be submitted by the deadline of 15 November 2019.
