Walter Schulz Stiftung Invites Applications for 2023 Research Award

Award worth €10,000 to honour outstanding work in the field of tumour research by early career researchers in Germany.

Walter Schulz Stiftung (Walter Schulz Foundation) is a charitable organisation in Germany which is dedicated to promoting research on the early detection, diagnosis and treatment of tumour diseases.

The foundation annually presents its Research Award (Forschungspreis) for outstanding tumour research by an early career researcher in Germany. The thematic focus of the award is on clinically oriented cancer research.

Eligible for the award are early career researchers in Germany who are under the age of 40.

The award is presented on the basis of research which must have been published in an internationally recognised scientific journal. For the 2023 award, the work must have been published between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2023.

The award offers a prize sum of €10,000.

The submission window for the 2023 award closes on 31 December 2023.
