Sarcoma UK Clinical Research Grants 2019
Sarcoma UK is the only charity in the UK focusing on all types of sarcoma. It funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
The charity provides grants to support clinically focused research which will benefit patients during their diagnosis, treatment and care. Two types of grant are available:
Small Grants to pump prime ideas and provide proof of concept or fund additional research for a larger project already underway.
Large Grants to conduct a substantive piece of work.
Principal Investigators (PI) must hold a permanent post at either a UK higher education institute or the NHS.
Small grants can be up to £25,000 in value and large grants up to £120,000.
Applications should be submitted by the deadline of 15 August 2019.
