Research Grant for Clinical Anaesthesia Open for Applications

The British Journal of Anaesthesia (BJA) and European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC) co-fund the BJA-ESAIC Research Grant to support clinical and experimental projects that will enhance clinical practice in the fields of anaesthesia, intensive care, pain and perioperative medicine.

A grant of up to €100,000 is available to qualified researchers based at academic institutions and hospitals in countries represented by the ESAIC Council. Collaborative studies by researchers in more than one European country are also eligible for support.

TO apply applicants should first submit an outline/short-abstract application via the online form on the ESAIC website by the deadline of 15 March 2021.

Around outline 40 applications will be invited to submit a full proposal by the deadline on 21 May 2021. Results will be announced in July 2021.
