Nominations Invited for €1 Million Lundbeck Foundation Brain Prize

Awarded annually by the Lundbeck Foundation, the Brain Prize recognises the work of an individual or group of scientists who have made highly original or influential advances in brain research, defined as research on any aspects of the brain and the nervous system in health and disease. It is a broad research field, encompassing a wide range of disciplines from basic neuroscience to applied clinical research aimed at producing new scientific knowledge on aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prophylaxis of diseases affecting the brain and the nervous system. If several researchers have contributed significantly to this achievement, more than one individual may be nominated.

Eligible nominees should have made a ground-breaking impact on brain research and still be active in research. Nominees can be of any nationality and working in any part of the world.

A prize of €1 million is awarded to the winner(s) of the 2020 Prize.

Nominations should be submitted by the deadline of 1 September 2019.
