MRC to hold Strategic Delivery Plan Community Engagement Webinar

The event will provide more information about the new MRC strategic delivery plan and include a Q&A session for researchers of all backgrounds.

The Medical Research Council (MRC) is inviting applicants to attend a free community engagement webinar on 17 October 2022 (14:00-15:00 BST) to obtain more information about the new MRC strategic delivery plan 2022-2025 ,which sets out MRC’s key priorities across the next three years.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) published detailed Strategic Delivery Plans for eight of its councils at the start of September 2022. These set out how the councils will deliver the wider UKRI mission and vision as well the activities they will undertake during the three-year spending period. The MRC’s own Strategic Delivery Plan is available here.

The webinar will be chaired by Professor John Iredale (MRC Interim Executive Chair) and will include a presentation on the new MRC strategic delivery plan followed by a live panel question and answer session.

Researchers at any career stage are invited to attend, along with universities, businesses, policymakers, charities and PhD students and fellows.

Interested participants can register to attend here by the 10 October 2022 (17:00 BST) deadline.
