Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) 17th Call Now Open

The Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV), a non-profit public-private partnership, established as a foundation in Switzerland in 1999. Its mission is to reduce the burden of malaria in disease-endemic countries by discovering, developing and facilitating delivery of new, effective and affordable antimalarial drugs.

MMV receives funding and support from several government agencies, as well as private foundations, international organisations, corporate foundations and private individuals. It issues a call for proposals in the first quarter of each year.

Eligible applicants are academic research institutions, as well as pharmaceutical companies, worldwide.

The amount of funding is determined on a case-by-case basis.

The deadline for the 17th Call for Proposals is 29 March 2019.
