RESEARCHconnect will be attending ARMA’s annual conference at the International Conference Centre, Belfast on 17-18 June 2019. We will be at the event to showcase our funding and consultancy services and demonstrate how they can help grow the research capability of institutions in the UK, and worldwide.
The ARMA Annual Conference promotes excellence in research management and administration. Members from across the UK and around the globe will hear the very latest views from a range of outstanding speakers and share best practice in the profession through a mix of plenary sessions, interactive workshops and networking opportunities.

Join our informative session ‘How to Diversify Beyond Your Usual Income Streams’ on Monday 17 June (08:00 – 08:45). This seminar will explore ways of identifying and capitalising on well-known and alternative sources of international research funding, namely:
how to source more obscure funds
funding application tips
disseminating funding information quickly to an academic audience
improving success rates.
Karen Lewis from University of Northampton will be co-presenting on how this small, non-research intensive university finds the right funders. Karen will also touch on how the university has integrated RESEARCHconnect into its overall strategy to increase research funding from international sources; tackled the challenges they have faced along the way; and engaged their academic community in this quest.
