Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship Programme Open for Application

A globally competitive fellowship programme for early and mid career researchers working to improve the learning and development of children and youth worldwide.

The Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship Programme is available internationally to innovative and talented early and mid career researchers whose work is aimed at improving the learning and development of children and youth worldwide. This includes, but is not limited to educational sciences, psychology, economics, sociology, behavioural science, computer science, pedagogy, linguistics, neurosciences and science of learning.

Researchers who look to combine multiple levels of analysis and engage in interdisciplinary work are particularly encouraged to apply. A special focus lies on work to understand and embrace variability in learning, promote the generation, transfer, and practical application of evidence on human learning and development, or increase the capacity to scale up effective education policies and practices.

Up to 12 fellowships are offered each year.

Applications are invited from early and mid career researchers from any country who have received their PhD within the past 10 years. Applicants must be employed at a higher education institution or research institute.

Funding of CHF 150,000 is available over three years.

Applications must be submitted by the deadline of 15 January 2023 (23:59 CET).
