Harkness Fellowships in Health Care Policy and Practice Open to Applications
The Commonwealth Fund is a private foundation based in the USA that aims to promote a high performing health care system that achieves better access, improved quality and greater efficiency, particularly for society’s most vulnerable.
The Harkness Fellowships in Health Care Policy and Practice provide an opportunity for mid-career health services researchers and practitioners from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and the UK to spend up to 12 months in the USA to conduct original research and provide the opportunity to work with leading US health policy experts. There is no age limit for the award; however, applicants must have a Master’s degree or doctorate (or equivalent) in health services, health policy research or a related topic.
The fellowship has a value of up to $130,000 for a period of 12 months to cover travel costs, a living allowance, research, conference/seminar attendance.
