Grant to support research into immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) or to improve knowledge of the Spleen Tyrosine Kinase (SYK) inhibition as mechanism of action.

The Grifols Scientific Awards Programme currently consists of seven research grants which target specific areas of interest.

The Grifols Research Awards in Immune Thrombocytopenia (GRAIT) support innovative basic or clinical research projects that aim to improve awareness, diagnosis, management and knowledge of the clinical course of immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), or projects that aim to improve knowledge of the Spleen Tyrosine Kinase (SYK) inhibition as mechanism of action.

Projects should be related to pathology or management of the disease in general or associated to study the mechanism of SYK inhibition.
