The US-UK Fulbright Commission endeavours to foster mutual cultural understanding between the United States and United Kingdom by supporting educational exchange between both nations. The Commission operates a series of awards and exchange programmes to enable undergraduates, postgraduates, academics and professionals to study and conduct research in the respective partner country.

The Fulbright Postgraduate Student Award at American University enables UK postgrads to undertake an on-campus Master’s degree at American University in Washington, DC. The award covers study at the American University College of Arts and Sciences, Kogod School of Business, School of Communication, School of Education, School of International Service, and School of Public Affairs.
