Embassy of France in the UK Scientific High Level Visiting Fellowships 2022

These mobility fellowships support PhD students and postdoctoral researchers based in the UK working in any field of research to spend one to three months at a host institution in France in order to strengthen bilateral scientific collaboration.

The Higher Education, Research and Innovation Department of the Embassy of France in the UK aims to promote scientific and technological collaboration between the two countries and to promote French scientific and technological achievements within the UK.

Scientific High Level Visiting Fellowships (SSHN) strengthen scientific collaboration by funding early stage researchers based in the UK to spend between one and three months in a CNRS research laboratory in France. Research visits should take place within the framework of existing bilateral collaboration.

This mobility scheme is open to PhD students and postdoctoral researchers in all disciplines residing in the UK and involved in collaborative research carried out between a British and a French research team.

The amount of these fellowships is €1,704 per month.

The scheme is run in partnership with France’s National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the mobility agency Campus France.

Applications to the 2022 call must be submitted to CNRS by 16 August 2022.
