EHDEN COVID-19 Rapid Collaboration Call

EHDEN COVID-19 Rapid Collaboration Call

The European Health Data and Evidence Network (EHDEN) project is a public-private partnership, set up under the framework of the IMI2 programme.

Due to the global urgency to provide evidence-based insight into COVID-19 patients, their treatment and prognosis, EHDEN has launched this call, which is open to institutions holding relevant COVID-19 data.

The objective is to be able to:

Involve as many Data Partners as possible and as soon as possible.

Map their data to the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) Common Data Model in a remote and expedited way.

Apply the EHDEN/Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) analytical toolkit on the mapped data to get evidence-based responses to some of the most urgent research questions in a matter of days rather than weeks.

The Data Partner must be legally established and based in an EU Member State or H2020 Associated Country.

Each Data Partner will be awarded a sub-grant of up to a maximum of €50,000 to compensate for their effort in preparing the data and collaborating with EHDEN in both the mapping exercise and subsequent research studies.

The call will run until 14 May 2020 (17:00 CET).
