Claussen-Simon-Stiftung Opens Master Plus Programme for Applications for Winter Semester 2024/2025
Claussen-Simon-Stiftung (Claussen Simon Foundation) is committed to supporting talented young people by awarding fellowships. In addition to financial support, it offers its fellows an extensive seminar programme with lectures and workshops tailored to their needs.
With the Master Plus programme, the Claussen-Simon-Stiftung supports students who have achieved excellent results in their Bachelor’s degree and who want to concentrate on their Master’s studies. Scholarship holders receive financial support which ensures that they can devote themselves fully to their studies, as well as non-material support which contributes to their personal development.
Eligible to apply are graduate students of all disciplines in Germany who:
- Will begin a Master’s degree at a German institution of higher education (Hochschule) in the coming semester. The Master’s degree has not yet started.
- Will undertake a full-time, face-to-face course.
- Are not older than 35.
- Have completed or expect to complete their Bachelor’s degree with an average grade of 1.7 or better.
- Do not yet have a Master’s degree.
- Can showcase involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Speak German as a native language, or can demonstrate very good knowledge of German (B1).
Funding of €300 to €934 per month (based on individual living costs) is provided for a maximum period of four semesters. Non-material support includes regular workshops, regional group meetings and network meetings with other scholarship holders and alumni of the Foundation.
