British Ecological Society Opens 2019 Competition for Marsh Awards

The British Ecological Society (BES) is a membership organisation established in 1913 to advance the science of ecology.

The Society administers three annual research awards funded by the Marsh Christian Trust:

Marsh Award for Climate Change Research – for an outstanding contribution to the discipline of climate change research.

Marsh Award for Ecology – for an outstanding current research record which is having a significant impact on the development of the science of ecology or its application.

Marsh Book of the Year Award – for a book published in the last two years that has greatly influenced the science of ecology or its application.

These awards are open to ecologists from any country in the world and each awards a prize of £1,000.

Nominations for the 2019 Marsh Awards must be submitted to BES by 24 April 2019.
