BIENVENÜE Fellowship ProgrammeClosing Date: 15/02/2022
Post-doctoral fellowship programme offering experienced researchers a training programme in the Brittany Region of France in every discipline, but related directly or indirectly to one of the strategic objectives of the Breton RIS3 and related to the Strategic Innovation Areas.
The BIENVENÜE Fellowship Programme (Welcoming highly-talented international post-docs in Brittany) was established by the French Brittany region.
The programme is co-funded by the French Brittany region and the European Union, under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (grant agreement No 899546).
The programme is designed as a building block supporting France’s Brittany Region’s proactive initiative to develop a knowledge-driven economy with international recognition and a local identity. It aims to reinforce Brittany’s human capital in research and innovation and to maximise impact by heightening research excellence, cross-sectoral innovation, and collaboration between academics, non-academics and policymakers. The postdoctoral projects will be hosted at eight research institutions based in Brittany.
Projects from every discipline can be funded as long as they relate directly or indirectly to one of the strategic objectives of the Breton RIS3 and are related to the Strategic Innovation Areas:
- Maritime economy for blue growth.
- Secure and responsible digital economy.
- Health and welfare economics for a better quality of life.
- Food economy for everyone to eat well.
- Economics of industry for intelligent production.
- The transversal axis around transitions.
In practice, the project should contribute directly or indirectly to at least one of the RIS3 Strategic Objectives.
