Applications are Invited for the RSC Inclusion and Diversity Fund: Disability and Accessibility Special Call

Funding is available to support projects that seek to improve the inclusion of individuals with disabilities and accessibility in the chemical sciences.

The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is a learned society which has the goal of advancing excellence in the chemical sciences. Its activities include research, education, conferences, science policy and the public promotion of chemistry.

The Inclusion and Diversity Fund: Disability and Accessibility Special Call aims to support community-driven projects that seek to improve the accessibility and the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the chemical sciences.

The scheme is open to both individuals and organisations. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Members of the Royal Society of Chemistry
  • Member-led groups
  • Researchers in academia or industry
  • Museums
  • Community groups
  • Not-for-profit organisations
  • Arts groups and libraries

Previous recipients of any RSC grants are welcome to apply for funding. This can be to scale-up a project that already exists or to fund the development of an original project.

Grants of up to £5,000 can be made. Funding greater than £5,000 may be considered for large-scale projects.

Applications for the 2021 call must be submitted by the deadline of 2 August 2021.
