Action Grants Available from European Cultural Foundation

The purpose of a new European Cultural Foundation (ECF) call for proposals is to support creative, cultural actions prior, during and after the EU parliamentary elections that can ‘breathe life into Europe, and democracy at large’.

Grants are available for anything from HR costs, to material or travel costs, as long as the project and budget is clear and concrete. Funding is possible for costs including start-up funding, co-funding or filling a budgetary gap.

Applications are accepted from anyone above 18 years old. The Call is open to individuals and organisations from all over the world.

Proposals should have a clear cultural and European dimension, and fit the theme and urgency. Priority will be given to applications related to and taking place before or during the EU Parliamentary elections during 23-26 May 2019.

The following levels of grant are available:

Small: €5,000 – €15,000 (for Individuals and Organisations).

Medium: €15,000 – €30,000 (for Individuals and Organisations).

Large: €30,000 – €50,000 (only open to Organisations).

Applicants are encouraged to submit budgets that accurately reflect the scope of their proposal.

The call will remain open to applications until the available budget has been spent.
