ABCD/DCT Diabetes Research Grant

Grants to support high quality, clinically based studies to improve the management and care of people with diabetes.

The Association of British Clinical Diabetologists (ABCD) and its associated charity, the Diabetes Care Trust (DCT), co-fund a clinical research grant to support high-quality, clinically-based studies to improve the care and management of people with diabetes.

Projects should be likely to improve the lives of people with diabetes within a few years of completion of the grant and can involve research, education, or quality improvement/clinical audits.

It is a condition of award that all or part of the research is submitted for publication to the journal of the ABCD (The British Journal of Diabetes).

The funding scheme will also allow access to additional support from the NIHR Clinical Research Networks for research projects.
