Joint Fellowship Award for the Study of Lung Cancer

The FMFLC-IASLC Foundation Joint Fellowship Award is a joint initiative of Free ME from Lung Cancer (FMFLC) and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer Foundation (IASLCF). FMFLC is a US-based non-profit organisation dedicated to raising money for lung cancer research, education, advocacy and community support.

The objective of the FMFLC-IASLC Foundation Joint Fellowship Award is to support researchers to deliver meaningful and measurable results for the early detection of lung cancer that has a high probability of near-term benefit to lung cancer patients or individuals at risk.

Eligible applicants are Pl’s who apply on behalf of a fellow applicant. The Pl must be a member of the IASLC and a single Pl can apply for only one fellow applicant. The fellow applicant must hold a MD, DO or PhD degree and must be within three years of initial faculty appointment by the time of application and within three years of completion of post-doctoral training.

The maximum funding is $100,000 per year for up to two years.
