Wellbeing of Women/PRUK Research Project Grants

Funding for up to three years for clinical and translational research projects that address women’s health in the areas of pharmacy and women’s reproductive and gynaecological health.
Wellbeing of Women is a UK charity devoted to improving the health of women and babies. Money is raised by the charity to fund medical research, training of health professionals and to provide health information for women.
Wellbeing of Women in partnership with Pharmacy Research UK (PRUK) are funding Research Project Grants to support clinical and translational medical research looking at the practice of pharmacy and pharmacists or exploring the role pharmacists can play in delivering the best possible patient benefit across one or more areas under Wellbeing of Women’s remit:
- Fertility, pregnancy and birth.
- Gynaecological and reproductive health.
- Gynaecological cancers.
The call will not cover pure laboratory-based research, although an element of such research may be considered as part of a wider application. Proposed work is expected to have clinical relevance within five years from the end of the project.
Collaborative research projects, especially between academic and industry researchers can be supported.
