Entry Level Scholarships to enable healthcare professionals and scientists to develop interests in research to improve sexual and reproductive health outcomes for women.
Wellbeing of Women (WoW) funds basic science and clinical research on all aspects of obstetrics, gynaecology and midwifery.
Wellbeing of Women in partnership with the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) will jointly fund one Entry Level Scholarship to enable healthcare professionals and scientists to develop interests in research to improve sexual and reproductive health outcomes for women.
The award will fund basic science, clinical or translational research projects in sexual and reproductive healthcare (SRH), to improve evidence-based practice and ultimately lead to better outcomes for women and girls. Awards are intended to provide pump priming funds to enable professionals involved in SRH to gain new experience of a research environment or to obtain pilot data that will enhance an application for a research fellowship (PhD or MD).
The research must be undertaken in the UK.
