This Wazoku Crowd Reduction to Practice (RTP) EGP Innothon Challenge – Robots for Renewables – has been put forward by Enel Green Energy to develop an autonomous robotic platform, capable of navigating renewable energy plants to carry out data collection, inspections, and small maintenance activities. The solution must be entirely autonomous when carrying out tasks and should also include a dashboard allowing an operator to define the mission goals for each specific task and AI features to support basic data analytics.
Enel aims to combine and use automated technologies and advanced robotics to control and maintain equipment in renewable energy plants and reduce the need for human intervention, increasing overall efficiency and reducing the risk of human error.
