University of Oxford Caroline Miles Visiting Scholarship

Scholarship available for early career researchers worldwide to visit the Ethox Centre to pursue a research project in global health ethics, clinical ethics, public health ethics or research ethics.

The Ethox Centre, part of the University of Oxford, aims to improve ethical standards in healthcare practice and in medical research. It does this through education, research and the provision of ethics support to health professionals and medical researchers.

The Caroline Miles Visiting Scholarship is awarded biannually to postdoctoral or early career researchers to visit the Ethox Centre for up to a month.

Candidates will benefit from the interaction with Ethox research staff and feedback on their work. They will also have the opportunity to access university libraries and attend talks and lectures which are relevant to their interests.

Successful applicants will be expected to engage in the academic life of Ethox by participating in the Centre’s activities, present at the seminar and write a guest blog post.
