UKRI Ageing Research Development Awards

Funding from UKRI to support research that will result in better health and wellbeing for individuals as they age.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is launching the Ageing Research Development Awards to provide funding for applicants to develop tractable avenues of research to secure better health and wellbeing for individuals as they age.

The Medical Research Council (MRC) is administering the opportunity; however, applications will be welcomed from across the breadth of the UKRI community. Proposals that seek to address a biomedical question are welcomed, although this is not a requirement. UKRI strongly encourages the formation of interdisciplinary teams to maximise potential impact from the projects.

Successful projects will sit at the interface of council remits, drawing on interdisciplinary teams to develop scientific proof of concept.
