The Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT) is an international US-based scientific society, established in 1960 as the Association for Colon Surgery. Its mission is to lead in advancing the science and practice of gastrointestinal surgery.
The SSAT Residents Research Award is a one-to two-year research fellowship award. The award will be provided to a resident or fellow member of SSAT to support research being conducted in the research programme of SSAT members. The supported research programme can be focused on clinical and translational research, outcome and health services research, or basic science investigation.
