The Royal Historical Society Early Career Research Support Grant provides funding for early career historians conducting research projects.

Projects must be clearly and predominantly historical in orientation, with a specific chronological remit. The grant is intended to fund activities such as visiting an archive or historic site, or conducting interviews.

Assessment of applications will take into account the applicant’s access to research funding support through their current employment, or other source.
