RCS Research Fellowship in Diversity Equity and Inclusion in Surgery
Closing Date: 01/06/2022
Fellowships available to fund a trainee’s salary to undertake research for a period of three to twelve months.
The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS England) is seeking to award up to two fellowships that will fund a trainee’s salary to undertake research for a period of three to twelve months. Applicants may undertake research relating to any aspect of surgery or surgical care.
Applications for research projects in any area related to diversity, equity and inclusion in surgery are welcomed. RCS England is particularly interested in receiving applications from areas where research is at present underdeveloped, and where new and original research can take place.
RCS England is also open to working in partnership with trainees (and potentially institutions) who already have access to funding – or have made application to other funders – to support a collaborative approach to excellence in research in this space.
Research can be self-contained or part of a wider research programme, but must be undertaken in the UK.
