Pfizer GMG Independent Medical Education Grants: Outpatient Management of COVID-19

Funding to support innovative and engaging online educational initiatives that increase the awareness and understanding of healthcare professionals (HCPs) on the therapeutic management of COVID-19 in the community, in an outpatient setting (where patients are not admitted or discharged from hospital).

Pfizer Global Medical Grants (GMG) support the global healthcare community’s independent initiatives (research, quality improvement or education) to improve patient outcomes in areas of unmet medical need that are aligned with Pfizer’s medical and/or scientific strategies. A GMG Independent Medical Education Grant is a type of grant which consists of Pfizer funding for independent medical education activities or initiatives which serve to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and/or professional performance of a healthcare professional (continuing medical education, continuing health education, continuing education). These activities or initiatives may or may not be accredited.

In certain clinical areas, specific Requests for Proposals (RFPs) will be posted.

The aim of the ‘Outpatient Management of COVID-19’ Requests for Proposals is to support innovative and engaging online educational initiatives that increase the awareness and understanding of healthcare professionals (HCPs) on the therapeutic management of COVID-19 in the community, in an outpatient setting (where patients are not admitted or discharged from hospital).

Projects that will be considered for Pfizer support will focus on therapeutic management of COVID-19 in the community, in an outpatient setting, in European countries.
