This competition is administered by Innovate UK (IUK); the UK’s innovation agency. IUK is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) – a non-departmental public body, funded by a grant-in-aid from the UK government through the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The National Aerospace Technology Programme (NATEP) is a technology development programme funded by the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The aim of this competition is to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) develop their own innovative aerospace technologies. These technologies should enhance the applicant’s capabilities and increase their ability to win new business within the civil aerospace sector.
