GDCh Friedrich Stolz Award

Annual award for outstanding achievements in medical chemistry.

Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh – German Chemical Society) is a membership organisation bringing together people working in chemistry and the molecular sciences. The society is designed to promote chemistry in education, research and application. In addition, GDCh seeks to deepen the understanding and knowledge of the general public about chemistry and its relevance to the world they live in. As part of its work, the society supports a number of research projects and publishes highly esteemed professional journals, particularly in applied chemistry. It also presents a number of research awards.

The annual GDCh Friedrich Stolz Award honours researchers and teams from industry and academia for their exceptional dedication, scientific discoveries or innovative technologies in the field of analytical chemistry.

The prize is co-awarded by the Division of Pharmaceutical/Medical Chemistry of the German Pharmaceutical Society (DPhG).
