A prize is open to French researchers and businesses to reward innovative solutions to improve the quality of life of sick children and to reduce health inequalities they may experience.
The Fondation Saint-Pierre is a French non-profit organisation focused on the protection and well-being of children in France, particularly in the region of Occitania. The Foundation publicises significant causes relating to children, promotes research and innovation in all areas that could improve outcomes in paediatric illness and offers help and support to families and professionals.
In partnership with Caisse d’Épargne, the Fondation Saint-Pierre offers the Grand Prize for Innovation in Paediatric Health. This Prize was established to uncover novel solutions that will improve the quality of life of sick children and will reduce inequalities in access to healthcare. The Prize supports innovative projects, whether they are at the commercialisation stage, the prototype stage or the concept stage. There are three categories to this prize:
- Talent Prize: Awarded to an innovation that has been already introduced to the market and is at the deployment stage.
