Fondation Maladies Rares/Association CSC Call for Proposals on Cerebellar Syndromes

Funding is available to European researchers to conduct research into cerebellar syndromes that are exclusively due to a rare disease.

Fondation Maladies Rares (FMR – Foundation for Rare Diseases) is an umbrella organisation created within the framework of France’s second National Rare Diseases Plan. It promotes scientific cooperation in all aspects of research on rare diseases. The Foundation provides funding and access to innovative technologies and specialised technological platforms.

Association Connaître les Syndromes Cérébelleux (Association CSC – Association for Understanding Cerebellar Syndromes) is a French non-profit organisation dedicated the study of cerebellar syndromes. The funding supports research into the syndromes while offering support for those affected and providing information to the general public.

FMR and Association CSC have launched a joint call for proposals for research into cerebellar syndromes. The aim is to develop innovative biomedical programmes (basic, clinical, translational) for cerebellar syndromes that are exclusively due to a rare disease.

Any research that improves physiological understanding and/or develops therapeutic strategies is of interest. Special attention will be paid to paediatric research proposals.
