Euro-BioImaging Access FundClosing Date: 15/12/2021
Funding to carry out a biological or biomedical imaging project at one of the Euro-BioImaging Nodes.
Euro-BioImaging is a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), a full legal entity under EU law, with the goal to establish and operate, through its members, a research infrastructure of European importance on a non-economic basis.
Euro-BioImaging is a European research infrastructure for biological and biomedical imaging as recognised by the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI). Euro-BioImaging was established in 2019. Through Euro-BioImaging, life scientists can access imaging instruments, expertise, training opportunities and data management services that they might not find at their home institutions or among their collaboration partners.
The fully distributed infrastructure of Euro-BioImaging is coordinated by a Hub and offers its services via imaging facilities called Nodes, which are located across several countries and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL).
Within the framework of the Euro-BioImaging Access Fund, funding is available to carry out a biological or biomedical imaging project at one of the Euro-BioImaging Nodes. Projects must include transnational access to a Euro-BioImaging Node, meaning that the applicant’s home institution is in a different country than the Node where the project is to be performed.
