Funding is available to young scientists based in EMBL member states to learn and use novel scientific techniques and to advance research projects relating to molecular biology.
The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) is a life sciences laboratory with six sites found across Europe. EMBL conduct biological research, offer advanced training for students and scientists and provide new technologies for a range of scientific and experimental services.
The Christian Boulin Fellowship programme provides funding to support travel and accommodation costs of young scientists visiting EMBL Core Facilities. Fellows will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of novel scientific techniques to benefit their research projects.
The initiative aims to build bridges between industry and users of the new technologies available at the Laboratory.
