École de l’Inserm–Pfizer Innovation France (EIPI) Doctoral Contracts

Doctoral contracts for biomedical projects to take place in Inserm units are available for engineering students of any age or nationality.

The Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale (Inserm – National Institute of Health and Medical Research) is a public scientific and technological institute which operates under the joint authority of the French Ministry of Health and the French Ministry of Research. Its mission is to understand and improve human health through the coordination of research in all life and health sciences.

In collaboration with the Pfizer Innovation France endowment fund, Inserm has established the École de l’Inserm-Pfizer Innovation France (EIPI – Inserm-Pfizer Innovation France School). The objective of this collaboration is to support training in biomedical research, targeted at students from engineering schools (écoles d’ingénieurs).

Through this collaboration, doctoral contracts are available. These contracts intend to encourage interdisciplinary research and support innovative ideas through the inclusion of engineers in academic research laboratories.

Projects will take place either within an Inserm unit or in the form of a collaboration with an Inserm laboratory.
