Funding available to facilitate productivity-related research as part of an Early Career Research Fellowship.
The Productivity Institute is a nation- wide research institute in the United Kingdom, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), focusing on improving productivity and living standards across the UK economy.
The Productivity Institute is inviting applications for Early Career Research Fellowships for the year 2022/2023 as part of its Productivity Fellowship programme.
Early Career Fellows will undertake innovative research, help grow the research capacity of the Institute, drive collaborative projects that deliver impact, and contribute to the Institute’s network of partners including, regional productivity forums, industry and policy makers.
The Fellowship will involve:
- Early Career Fellows will conduct research which contributes to understanding productivity with a focus on one or more of the Institute’s main themes and research topics
- Appointments of Early Career fellows are typically made for two years
- Early Career Fellows will be affiliated with either the Institute’s headquarters at the Alliance Manchester Business School, or one of the Institute’s partner organisations, especially if the proposal strongly fits the interests of the local research team involved and/or requires to work with a researcher at that organisation
- The Productivity Institute is committed to building a network of early career fellows from diverse backgrounds (along multiple dimensions) to support its broad-based and interdisciplinary approach to its research programme.
