CCLG Research Bursaries for Nursing and Allied Health Professionals

Funding for nurses and allied health professionals working in clinical practice in paediatric oncology to undertake a short-term project in the field of childhood cancer and gain research experience.
The Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) is a leading support charity for children and young people with cancer and the professional association for those involved in the treatment and care of children with cancer in the UK and Ireland. CCLG is a member of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) and provides a range of funding from its own resources and partner charities to support research in identified areas of need.
The CCLG Research Bursaries for Nursing and Allied Health Professionals are intended to support nursing and allied health professionals working in clinical practice in paediatric oncology and haematology undertaking a short-term research project to gain experience and skills. Grants may support standalone projects, projects that are part of a wider programme of work, or projects to generate preliminary data before applying for further career grants, such as a Masters or PhD fellowship.
Projects in any area of childhood cancer will be considered, providing the addresses one of the top ten Research Priorities for Childhood Cancer published by the Children’s Cancer Priority Setting Partnership.
