Breast Cancer Now Dame Vera Lynn Clinical Research Training Fellowship
Closing Date: 16/01/2023
PhD funding for translational research projects that will improve clinical outcomes for people at risk of breast cancer and for patients with breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Now is a charitable organisation set up in 1988 with the objective of researching a cure for breast cancer. It works to be a leading specialist in breast cancer research across the UK and Ireland, making a significant impact on breast cancer for the benefit of patients.
Breast Cancer Now is providing the Dame Vera Lynn Clinical Research Training Fellowship to enable clinically qualified candidates to undertake translational laboratory and clinical research. The awards will lead towards a PhD, aimed at improving the clinical outcomes for people at risk of breast cancer and for patients with breast cancer.
Candidates for the CRTF may be working in any discipline or clinical specialty, but they should be able to clearly demonstrate that the project will lead to advances in the understanding or treatment of breast cancer, and have a clear potential to benefit patients with breast cancer.
