Grant for translational doctoral projects in the field of medicine in Germany.
The Charité – Universitätsmedizin (CU – Charité University Hospital) is a single medical faculty which serves the Free University Berlin (FU- Freie Universität, Berlin) and the Humboldt University (HU- Humboldt Universität, Berlin). As one of the largest European university clinics, the CU has four campuses and about hundred clinics and institutes, which make up a total of seventeen different Charité centres.
The BIH Doctoral Programme provides funding for translational doctoral projects which fit on of the following research priorities:
- Responsible translational methodologies.
- Advanced regenerative therapies.
- Computational precision medicine.
- Complex and rare diseases.
