ASME Mindfulness in Medical Education Research Award 2022

Small grant award to enable an undergraduate or postgraduate healthcare student to undertake research related to mindfulness in medical education or healthcare.
The Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME) is a membership organisation for people with an interest in medical education and training in the UK, including medical education researchers, medical students and trainees, and those working in medical schools. It aims to support research-informed best practice across all fields of medical education.
The ASME Mindfulness in Medical Education (MiME) Special Interest Group has established the Mindfulness in Medical Education Research Award to support an undergraduate or postgraduate student undertaking a piece of research related to mindfulness in medical education or healthcare.
The grant will cover expenses over a 12 month period to undertake a project on any aspect of mindfulness or mindfulness based practices, from its role in well-being to clinical decision making, with academic support from an identified member of the ERC, MiME or TASME/ JASME.
Awardees will present their research at the MiME Conference in 2023 or 2024 and apply to present their work at the 2023 or 2024 ASME Annual Scholarship meeting.
