Closing Date: 18/05/2022
UK businesses and partners can access funding for late-stage research and development projects that help accelerate the UK towards a net-zero automotive future.
This competition is administered by Innovate UK (IUK); the UK’s innovation agency. IUK works with people, companies and partner organisations to de-risk, enable and support innovation, and promote UK economic growth. IUK is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) – a non-departmental public body, funded by a grant-in-aid from the UK government through the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
Formed in 2013 the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) is a 10-year partnership between industry and government that will invest £1 billion to accelerate the development of low carbon propulsion technologies in the UK. APC competitions are formally delivered in partnership between APC, IUK and BEIS.
The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) provides funding, support and insight in developing automotive technologies. It aims to support the UK’s transition towards net zero product manufacturing and supply chain in the UK automotive sector.
